In our worship services on Sunday, January 30, Redeemer began to open up before our entire congregation a new vision initiative, "The Gospel Takes Shape". The church officers prayed a lot, talked a lot, and worked a lot on these vision goals during 2010. Now, as 2011 begins, they bring this plan to us, the members and friends of Redeemer, to see how God may lay it on our hearts to give in response.

The plan has several main objectives in view:

• to reduce or eliminate Redeemer's mortgage debt,

• to renew Redeemer's facilities,

• and to extend Redeemer's ministry and mission, here in Fort Sanders and at UT, with families and  students here in Knoxville, as well as through gospel partnerships forged around the world.
